1. Who these terms cover
This website, lowvoltnyc.com, and the Low Volt NYC service are operated by Outlast Solutions LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using this site or requesting our services, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information.
2. What we do
Low Volt NYC is a licensed, insured and bonded low-voltage contractor serving residential and commercial clients in and around New York City. Our work covers:
- Security cameras — CCTV and IP camera systems for storefronts, buildings, offices, and homes.
- Networking — structured cabling, Wi-Fi coverage, and network hardware installation and configuration.
- Programming — configuration and programming of low-voltage systems so installed equipment works as intended.
3. Quotes and estimates
Anything we tell you before a written, confirmed scope of work — including responses to the quote form, phone conversations, and preliminary numbers — is an estimate, not a binding offer. Site conditions in New York City buildings vary widely, and final pricing and scope are set only when we confirm them with you in writing. A quote request through this site does not create a contract, and either of us is free to walk away before a scope is agreed.
4. The work
We perform our work in a professional and workmanlike manner, consistent with applicable industry practices, and we configure and test what we install before handing it over. Specific commitments about any particular job — schedule, equipment, warranty terms — are those stated in your written scope of work, which governs if it differs from anything on this website.
Some things are outside our control and not something we promise: manufacturer defects in third-party equipment, the performance of your internet service provider, building or landlord approvals, and conditions concealed inside walls, ceilings, or risers that could not reasonably be seen before work began. Where such conditions change the job, we will tell you before proceeding.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property, arranging lawful access to the work areas, and obtaining any consent required from your landlord, building management, or board. If you ask us to install cameras or other monitoring equipment, you are responsible for using them in compliance with applicable laws.
6. Website content
The content of this website is provided for general information about our services and is not professional advice for your specific situation. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee it is complete or current, and we may change it at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outlast Solutions LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of this website or our services — including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data or recordings — and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the work giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under New York law, or the coverage provided by our insurance and bonding.
8. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from this website or our services, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in New York will have jurisdiction.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms are effective as of July 21, 2026. If we change them, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
