Privacy Policy

How Low Volt NYC handles the information you share with us — plainly stated. The short version: we collect what you send us through the quote form or tell us on the phone, we use it to respond and do the work, and we don't sell it or use it for advertising. This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.

Effective date: July 21, 2026

1. Who we are

Low Volt NYC is operated by Outlast Solutions LLC, a New York limited liability company (the "controller" of the personal information described here). You can reach us by phone at (856) LOW-VOLT (+1‑856‑569‑8658) or through the quote form on this site.

2. Information we collect

When you request a quote through this site, we collect what you enter in the form:

  • Name (required)
  • Phone number and/or email address — at least one, so we can reach you
  • Service you're interested in (optional)
  • Your message — location, rough scope, timeline, and whatever project details you choose to share (optional)

When the form is submitted, our server also records the submission time, the page it was sent from, and your IP address. The IP address is used for spam prevention and rate limiting.

Because we quote and perform low-voltage installation work, the details you share may describe your premises — layout, equipment locations, access arrangements, and similar project information. We treat premises and access details as confidential (see section 7).

3. Where the information comes from

Directly from you — through the quote form, over the phone, or in the course of the work. We do not buy lead lists or collect information about you from data brokers.

4. How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your quote request, prepare and discuss a scope of work, schedule and perform services, and follow up on work we've done for you. That's it — we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

5. Who we share it with

Quote requests are received and stored on our own server. When a request comes in, an automatic notification containing the details you submitted is sent to our team's private workspace on Slack (a messaging service we use internally) so we can respond quickly. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with advertising partners, and we do not disclose it to third parties except service providers like the above that help us operate, or where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. While New York does not currently impose a comprehensive consumer privacy statute on a business of our size, we honor requests in the spirit of laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) where feasible: contact us using the details in section 15 and we will confirm what we have and act on your request. We will never treat you differently for exercising these choices.

7. Sensitive information: premises and access details

Installation and service work can involve knowing how to get into and around your property. We limit access to premises and access-related details to the people who need them to do the job, and we do not publish or share them.

8. No recording

This website does not record audio or video of visitors, and we do not record phone calls.

9. Cookies and tracking: none

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind. That is why you see no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first.

10. How we protect it

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for personal information, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act. Form submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are stored on infrastructure we control.

11. If something goes wrong

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law, including New York's breach notification requirements.

12. Children

This site offers contracting services and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Where your information lives

We are a United States business, our servers are located in the United States, and we do not transfer your personal information internationally.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy is effective as of July 21, 2026. If our practices change, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.

15. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests: call (856) LOW-VOLT (+1‑856‑569‑8658) or send us a note through the quote form mentioning that it's a privacy request.
